my sister was having this conversation with her colleague:

him: "ay, ur sister's in mass comm right? so she must be quite hip right, cos i heard mass comm ppl quite hip one."

(note: i dunno if his english is really that bad, but my erjie was relating it in that manner, so we'll just have to devalue him for a while)

her: "oh no no no, my sister's not hip. she wears crap to school. just this morning, she was wearing this crappy shirt, and......"
